If a small boat can take the AIDS red ribbon all the way up into the Arctic, how come we still cant get the AIDS message out around Southern Africa and beyond?

Around the 20th May, 2008, a little boat will sail towards Greenland. The plan is to get as far towards the ice as possible.

We want to make a statement: that if we can get the AIDS message up to the Arctic, then it should be possible to get it to those people that need it most, particularly in Southern Africa.

Where HIV prevention failed...

We would like to raise 10 000 dollars for home-based terminal care for a few of the people for whom basic HIV information never arrived.

Help with trip...

The trip itself will cost about a lot of money. Most of this will be paid by those making the trip. But we need fuel, a new life-raft, a couple of survival suits and other kit. You can choose for half your donation to go on these costs.
